I got started in the kitchen at an early age -- recollecting making peanut butter and cupcakes with my mom when I was 7 years old. I worked off and on in the food service industry throughout college to supplement her monthly allowance from my parents since buying high-end designer clothing wasn’t part of the deal. I’ve always been passionate about food, especially desserts. This admiration, love and obsession led me to take weekend classes at the French Culinary Institute in New York City alongside my very busy and demanding work schedule. It was there that I studied Classic Pastry Arts, now I’m turning a hobby into a professional craft. After 10 years of living and eating my way through New York, I moved to Lagos, Nigeria where I decided to try my hand at selling my delicately made pastries.
